音乐剧[悲惨世界] 4 方婷弥留之中的托付+让瓦让的承诺

为了心爱的女儿的成长，方婷曾经卖掉了美丽闪亮的金发、整齐洁白的牙齿，后来又不得不卖身，乃至生命。在弥留之际他庆幸自己遇到了善良的“市长”冉瓦让。她把自己的最爱教托给他。
这首对唱还是重复使用本歌剧的两个主题：

[爱主题开始，贯穿全曲，由方婷冉瓦让分别唱出-同样的旋律，不同的内容象征着不同背景的两个人面对不同生活，但是爱是他们共同的基础]

How fast the minutes fly away and every minute colder.

这段对白太感人的：虽然拉维警长的脚步声声逼近，冉瓦让还是耐心地听着方婷。而且他所承诺的比方婷要求得更多！
